It
took me awhile to figure out a good random act of kindness, but then after
living on a college campus I see injured kids hurrying to class everyday out of
breath. One day while being at home, my roommate walked in very tired. For my
random act of kindness, I chose to drive my roommate to class since he recently
tore his meniscus and is on crutches. I chose to do this because it is a lot of
work to walk fifteen to twenty minutes to class everyday and it can get really
exhausting. While walking around campus, I see many students who are injured in
some way and struggling to make it to class on time. It felt very good to do
this act because I know I was helping someone and brightening his or her day. When
I was on crutches two years ago, I wish I had someone who would have done this
random act of kindness for me at least once a week. This would have made my day
less nerve-racking and more relaxed. After doing this act, I learned that some
people would go out of their way and help those who they’re closest with. I
feel as if in our society today, people are not as helpful and giving when
others need them the most. They are not eager to please, but would rather be
unsympathetic. I really enjoyed assisting a friend and I hope he appreciated my
act of kindness.
This is awesome i can only imagine how much he appreciated this I know from experience crutching around a college campus is just about the worst thing in the world
